Section 1: PvP

  1. PvP is almost always allowed, as long as both players/parties are okay with it. (You don't have to have explicit permission, but you shouldn't attack someone just to overly annoy them.)
    1. Do not kill people over and over again without reason.
      1. A reason could be if they keep attacking you first, or if you are doing a series of agreed upon 1v1's.
    2. Do not attack people who are AFK.
      1. You can not be in the middle of a fight and walk away and say that you were AFK.
      2. Generally, you should be AFK for at least 5 minutes to actually be considered AFK.
    3. Do not PvP at spawn, or within 50 blocks.
  2. Combat logging is never allowed. You should be out of combat for at least a minute before logging off.
  3. If you kill someone, you should be courteous and put their stuff in a chest if they can't get back to their stuff in time.

Section 2: Griefing / Stealing

  1. You are never allowed to steal anything from anyone.
    1. This includes from any form of container, from their inventory if they die, or even if they accidentally drop something on the ground.
      1. Container includes but is not limited to: chest, trapped chest, barrel, shulker box, furnace, blast furnace, smoker, brewing stand, hopper, crafter, minecart with chest, minecart with hopper, boat chest, chiseled bookshelf, lectern, armor stand, dispenser, dropper, donkey/mule/llama chest, etc.
  2. You are not allowed to grief anything, ever.
    1. You are not allowed to break anything someone else has placed.
      1. If you are trapped somewhere, you can break out, but you must replace the blocks you break to get out.
    2. Be very careful with the use of TNT. Make sure there's no chance of you accidentally destroying something you aren't planning on destroying.
    3. You are not allowed to kill any animals or mobs that are tamed or owned by other players.
  3. Respect the world and try your best to keep it clean.
    1. Fill in your creeper holes with an appropriate block.
    2. Don't place random blocks around without reason.
    3. Try not to leave trees floating.
  4. You don't need someone's permission to go in their base, but you shouldn't go in the parts that they probably wouldn't want you in.
  5. Respect the purpose of buildings.
    1. For example, you should never enter a vault without the owner's permission, because the entire purpose is to hide/protect what's inside.

Section 3: Building / Farms

  1. Do not build anything that resembles anything too inappropriate.
  2. Most farms are allowed.
    1. Any farm that includes duplication glitches are not allowed, except for TNT duplicators.
    2. AFK fish farms are forbidden, do not use or even build one.
    3. All farms should be toggleable, or built somewhere out of the way, so they won't cause a lot of lag.
  3. You shouldn't build anything too close to other player's buildings/areas, so that they have room to expand if they want to.
  4. You shouldn't build anything where another player already has something planned.
    1. You should ask the players around where you want to build if they are okay with you building there if you plan to build close to them.

Section 4: Community / Events / Storytelling

  1. Community shops/builds/events are strongly encouraged!
    1. You are allowed to plan your own server events.
      1. If you are attending someone else's event, be courteous to their event. Follow the rules they give you and don't be annoying.
  2. Be respectful in the chat.
    1. Swearing is allowed, but don't overuse them.
    2. Don't say anything too inappropriate.
    3. Be kind to others and treat each other with respect, or at least treat each other like friends.
    4. Don't be a jerk.
  3. Creating lore and storytelling on the server are completely allowed and encouraged.
  4. Streaming and recording are completely allowed and encouraged.
  5. Do not invite anyone to the server that is not an official member. To become an official member, you must read all of the rules and be accepted after applying to the server.
    1. Do not give anyone the server IP or port.
    2. You may send people the link to the rules and application.

Section 5: Cheating / Mods

  1. All forms of cheating are strictly prohibited unless stated otherwise.
    1. All hacks/modded cheats are banned.
    2. X-ray or other cheaty texture/resource packs are banned.
    3. Using cheat commands such as /gamemode, /give, or /xp.
      1. Many plugins have their own commands. You are allowed to use them, however, sometimes there are cheat commands that the devs accidentally make accessible to all players. You may not use these. It should be obvious which ones you should not use.
    4. Autoclickers and macros are allowed.
  2. Exploits are a big gray area. Some are allowed and others are not.
    1. Exploits that are allowed: TNT duplication, bedrock breaking, building on the nether roof.
    2. Exploits that are not allowed: item and block duplication, attaining creative/cheat only items such as bedrock, barrier blocks, structure blocks, structure voids, light blocks, debug sticks, jigsaw blocks, etc.
  3. Clients such as Lunar Client are allowed.
    1. If you do use a client, Lunar Client is the most recommended, and it is what the majority of java players on the server use.

Section 6: Everything Else

  1. If you see or know that someone broke the rules, tell me immediately.
  2. I have the final say on rules and punishments for breaking them.
    1. I want this server to stay very protected, so most of the time if you break any rule, you will just be permanently banned.
  3. If you have any questions about any rules, send me a message (preferably on my Discord server).
  4. The rules can change at any time. I will try to notify everyone in the Discord server whenever something changes, but you are expected to stay updated even if I don't.
  5. Lastly, if I missed something that should be included, please let me know. I want to add any small details I missed or straighten out any loopholes.
